$35 Craigslist find

The lady said she had a big amount of material for $35. There is lots of Christmas fabrics, duck cloth, felt, and other pieces. There is also a fleece that is about 2 1/2 yards, a brand new Fiskars circle cutter, large safety pins, and 3 cross stitch type of kits, along with a few other craft items.

Any ideas for the duck cloth and felt? I was wondering if duck cloth could be used in the middle of a quilt.

the duck cloth will make the best tote bags. I make one of duck cloth many many many years ago for my hubby to take his carveing in, he uses it ever day. I have had to been new handle on it once. but it would make great shopping bags. and wash up great as will.

Wow, what a deal! I would not use the duck cloth as a substitute for batting. It's way too stiff. It will make great tote bags, however.

Great find. I wouldn't use the duck cloth or felt in a quilt.

I had an odd piece of rose denim and I used it for sashing. It's the same weight as duck cloth and it worked out well.
