My new iron board/ storage project.

I went to a rummage sale to support a local charity. Before even entering, my measuring tape was out. This dresser was the perfect height. I didn't care if it was bright red and covered in stickers. I didn't want to strip it so I just cleaned it, removing all the stickers (thanks to the creator of goo gone) and sprayed it with spray paint. We bought a 2ft by 4 ft. board, added batting and fabric and I love it! A total of 4 hours were spent on this project and that included the shopping. It is now filled with fat quarters which were stored in plastic bins. Total out of pocket cost....$21.86!

Nice work. I like the large ironing surface.

Nice ironing center! I always have my eye out for actual WOOD furniture. The pressed artificial boards don't last like the real wood.

What a great transformation. Isn't it thrilling to have a project come together so quickly, successfully, and best of all FINISHED! And a bargain to boot!
