Janome MC 350E - should I keep or send back?

DH brought home a gently used (4 month old ) Janome MC350E last night. Surprise, surprise! I have one week to decide if I want to keep or take back. Can't decide what to do. Looking for some help deciding. Thanks!

I have a Janome 300E that I've had since 2004 and I love it. You can use many different size hoops on it (the giga hoop is very large) and it will do embroidery on all kinds of things. I have three granddaughters so I have made many things for them. Personally, I wanted a stand-alone embroidery machine (rather than a sewing/embroidery) and I have never been sorry for that decision. Try it...you might like it.

You need to list your reasons for why you want to keep it and why you want to return it.

Thanks Angel Bear. I'm just a little unsure how much actual use I will get out of it. It's very easy to use. Made a great butterfly last night right out of the case. Thinking I could make my quilt labels on it; its an idea. The price is very good so I'm leaning towards keeping it.

Good suggestion!

I buy most of my designs from www.emblibrary.com They always have free designs and discounted designs and things on sale. I would suggest you visit their site for ideas. They have quilt designs and beautiful lace projects. Play with it all week and then decide.

I would keep it. I'm sure you will find a use for it. Of course, I still have my 51 year old first machine.

I would keep it. I have heard good things about that machine. You will probably be sorry if you take it back?

I have the Janome 200 E. We purchased it to embroidery my DMIL's name on her dresses when she was in a nursing home. I use it now for my quilt labels and once in a while a design for a few things around the house. When I do use a special design, getting all of the thread can be expensive. I'm really glad I have it, and you should keep yours if it doesn't hurt your pocket book.

My 350e is 2 years old, and I love it! I love making quilts with embroidery (as well as pretty labels). I buy most of my designs at emblibrary.com, but I have a membership to designsbysick.com, and they have very nice designs also.

If my 350e ever leaves this house, it will be because Janome has a new and better embroidery machine...or I've gone to quilt for the angels.
