Did you use just reg batting or did you use the thermal kind used for making ironing board covers? They are really cute and I have a friend who has roosters in her kitchen and want to make some for her. Thanks

I used a layer of thin batting, plus a layer of Insul-Brite. Supposed to be good to 390 degrees.

The Rooster fabric is from Red Rooster. Have a friend who collects anything rooster, so made her a set for Christmas. I have a lady who wants to buy all I can make up of those & others for this coming Christmas. Not hard to make, just getting the time to do them. I have 4 sets cut & ready to bind, & will cut more after hospital stay.
