I'm hosting a Sewing Day at my house thru a meetup group that I belong to, if anyone is interested in sewing and socializing.

Noon - 7pm

So wish I could be there, to meet other quilters and get tips! But I looked it up (as I am new to California) and it would be a five hour drive! NUTS! Have a wonderful time sewing with those able to make it!

Hi, my name is Sulema Cruz and I live near Hollister, CA and would love to attend your sewing day on 9/8/13. I've only been a member of Quilting Board for about 3 years or so. I love to read what everyone is quilting and all the helpful information and have been retired for about 5 years now. Did work in Gilroy for about 11 years until the horrible layoffs started but have been enjoying myself learning to quilt, sew, and crochet. Hope you have room for me and if so, what do I bring??
