WOOT! Our county fair is going on right now and 85 quilts were judged last night in Open Class! I'm so excited to say that I entered 6 quilts and got 6 ribbons! (2 blue; 3 red; 1 white). The quilt I worked the longest and hardest on was the Quilty Barn Along one and I was thrilled to see it win a red ribbon. All-in-all, very happy with the results and eager to start on next year's items already!
Blue ribbons: Barnyard boy (baby theme) category Bird on a Branch (small wallhanging) Red ribbons: Quilty Barn Along Barn quilts (medium wallhanging) Summer Squares with flower trapunto (lap robe) Silver Star pink baby quilt (machine quilted by exhibitor) White ribbon: Bittersweet- rust colored BOM (not specifified) category. I made this quilt for our fabulous 4H leader since this is our last year in 4H. What a great time it's been and really going to miss it! |
