As per your request, her she is.
Looking through my archive, I realized that I never really did a proper "photoshoot" with her, so perhaps that will be tonight. But for now, here are the ones I have taken already. As arrived, with a 1902-3 Frister and Rossman High Arm TS in the background The "haul" shot Nice angle teaser shot The feeties (or Foots) Importers badge Serial number And the big reveal... . . . . . . . The NAKED lady! lol.... More importantly, here is the FULL REVERSE control |
did I miss the naked lady? no pic of her. Wow nice machine there Steve.
according to an article I read about these, the "bare breasted" sphinx on the front was considered so scandalous at the time that there was advice published to store it "modestly" by turning it around...
I spoke to a MUCH older lady who remembered her father looking at one in a shop and her mother "cuffing" him for it. She said it was the "nipple" that nobody wanted to talk about... LOL |
lol.. well I would gladly put the nipple to my collection. That is a nice machine...
very cool machine.
I see- what frauds those older people were at times. To hear tell some would never do anything like they do now days, but then again if looking at old family trees some come to light. HAHA
This is the best sewing machine I have stitch formation wise.
So glad you posted pic. My curiosity was peeked when I saw the naked lady on the list. Love to see the others.
