i found this singer machine at the flea market for 10.00. friday. and so far i think it is a singer 9117. not sure. any way i am trying to download to print a manual for it with no luck. from singerco.com. it will not let me.been trying since i got it home friday evening. any other places on the internet that i can download free manual for this. would appreciate if anyone knows. thank you all for any help.. also when i got it home i noticed they cut off 4 inches off the legs of the cabinet..didnt notice till i got it home.:([ATTACH=CONFIG]429754[/ATTACH][ATTACH=CONFIG]429753[/ATTACH]

it seems that it comes up but dose not stay open long enough to get it to print. maybe i need to type faster.

Have you tried right clicking and downloading? Then finding it an opening it?

I typed in singerco.com manuals and it took me to the Singer site and near the bottom of the page there is a red & white box that says Instruction Manuals....click on that...it will go to a page asking for your Model #.....add that than press select and your machine comes right up along with 5 others but it looks like yours. Then click on download and you can print from there. While I was on the site I found the manual for my 1975 Singer Touch n Sew II Model 778. I had lost it in a move so I printed it out. Hope this helps.

yes i finally got to print it out. boy i am so happy. now i need to know what kind of needles it takes.it says singer 20/20. but there are a few to choose from. i just have the one needle it came with. thank you all for the help..

2020 is just a 15x1 needle... same as 130/705, or HAx1
