Work Shoes

Anyone who works in a warehouse I was wondering what kind of athletic shoes brand(styles)
do you wear? I don't have to wear steel toed shoes but run around conveyors and/or drive a
tugger all day. I do from light to approx. no more than 50/60lbs. I usually buy sketchers
or new balance shoes. Alot of the shoes now have the mesh fabric and I like some of them
but not sure about them. I also have to have a wide shoe so therefore there sometimes
isn't alot of styles out there unless I possibly look on line. But I like to go to the store
to try them on first.

Merrels!
I love them, they come in different styles, you would definitely need to try them on and see how they feel to you.
Vasque are great shoes too, more like hiking boots, very comfy.

sketchers don't have enough foot padding for me. I wear them short term, but not any other time. New Balance feel good to me.

Merrels or SAS are pretty much all I've found that I can live with.

SAS was for me when I worked on cement floors for years.

If I had that kind of job, probably the only shoes that would work for me would be the Nike Air Max. The air-pocket cushioning in the heel does not degrade over time the way other types of cushioning do. They have a wide toe box, which I also need, and good foot support. I like the mesh tops because they allow my feet to breathe a little.

I tried New Balance once years ago and did not like them as much. What I have read here on the QB is that the higher the model # of NB, the better the shoe.

Zappos.com has shoes in all widths and styles, free shipping, and easy return. You can define exactly what you are looking for in the left column of their website. I buy a leather New Balance walking shoe with velcro closures in wide and have loved them for years. My foot is short from ball of foot to end of toe and this New Balance last fits me the best.

I love sketchers shape ups. They're great for any muscle soreness I get. Also, I've noticed a lot of nurses at hospitals and doctors offices wear them. Doesn't do anything to make my backside look better, but sure is easy on my legs and feet.
