Quiltingboard Forums - Hello from Sacramento!!!

Hi all. My name is Kristal and I live in Sacramento , CA. I got into sewing a few years ago after the birth of my second child. I find it difficult to do projects because I'm so busy with the kids, but I fit them in here and there. I'm currently working on a baby stimulating quilt for my SIL who is due in December. It will be my first ever quilt and hopefully not the last. I never thought I would get into quilting because I was mostly interested in garment sewing and because I had this horrible stereotype in my head of a quilter was (bad, I know). The fact is now that I'm working on this quilt, I'm trying to stop myself from wanting to sew more quilts with the little time I have!! In addition to being a wife, mother, and new quilter, I'm currently studying to become a Certified Tumor Registrar.
