All-in-one quilt label

I've always had three labels on my quilts - one for the giftee, one with a QR code that links to our blog (and preferably a post about the quilt - which is a great identifier!), and one with washing instructions. I decided today to try to combine them all within one label. I did it on Word, and printed it on a Printed Treasures sheet. A set of 10 of those sheets is $18.99/sheet, and I get 2 or 4 labels per sheet. Used my 40%-off coupon, which brought the cost down to about 30-60 cents per label. That's a cost I can swallow!! I'm not sure I'm sold on this brand yet, but I like them better than the other iron-ons I've tried. I usually use Bubble Jet Set but wanted to give these a try.

I made it for the http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...t-t230693.html I'm making. I think it turned out pretty well, and I'll probably try to incorporate like this more often! I wish I could have gotten a clearer pic, but my camera battery is dead and I had to use my cell phone. Sorry!

That is how I have always done my labels and it works greats. Many of times I have included pictures on my labels and they have held up thru washings.

I've always done mine with Bubble Jet Set because I don't care for the "plastic-y" feel of the iron-on labels. These aren't quite as thick as others I have used in the past. It will be interesting to find out how they hold up after washing - hopefully I have the same luck!

I also sew on muslin type fabric in the envelope method. The printed treasures fabric is a bit tough to put a needle through ... so I can hand sew threw the muslin much easier.
