Looking for Handi handles front mount frame
Does anyone know where I could buy this frame? Or am I right in thinking the company is out of business? I have the handles and would like to be able to move to other side of machine to free motion quilt. Thanks for any help. Bobbie

Is it Handi Quilter you're looking for? http://www.handiquilter.com/
|
Well, I have the handiquilter set up with my Juki and a set of handles to the rear of the machine. I want to be able to move the handles to the needle end of the machine so seeing the stitching will be easier for free motion.

So the Juki is your machine, and the frame is a Handi Quilter frame? Maybe this is what you are looking for:
http://www.icanhelpsew.com/juki-bundle.html Looks like you have to call to find out about availability of the front-mount handles: http://www.icanhelpsew.com/handihandles-mount.html $129 if they have them: http://www.icanhelpsew.com/handiquilter2.html Your best bet is probably to put in a search on eBay. I found these, but they sold last month: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Quilters-Han...-/290974817794 Also try posting a Wanted ad on the sewitsforsale Yahoo group (you have to create a Yahoo Id and join the group first). Judging by this thread: http://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f1...-t39193-2.html the company that made the front mount handles has been out of business since at least 2010 (not the Handi Quilter company, but rather the company that made the front mount frames). |
HandiQuilter is definitely not out of business- they are based in Utah- very popular, available, busy- and have good customer service.

I found the icanhelpsew.com site and they can no longer get the handi handles, but have their own design. Might have to go with that. Thanks for your help.

Are you looking for the handles or the frame that the handles you have go on?
oops I wrote the msg before refreshing my screen and seeing the other posts. I was yesterday at sewingmachinesplus in San Marcus to test the handiquilter fusion and they had the handles. |
Handi Quilter's web site is: http://www.handiquilter.com/
I have a Bernina frame and it has front handles and back handles. |

This is my set up right now. With the frame I can move handles to front of machine. Does the Bernia look like it would accept these handles?

This is very time sensitive, but for those of you who are out there looking:
