Tin Lizzie electrical power issue
I have a Tin Lizzie 18LS and suddenly I lost all electrical connection. I have checked all power to the machine and everything is working properly including the surge protector. When I plug the machine directly into the outlet (bypass the surge protector) I still have no power at the machine. Is there a reset button somewhere or any ideas on what to check out further?

get your manual out and see where your reset button is. Often it's just a little tiny hole off to the side of your start button or in the area of. Often if you have a stiletto or darning needle all you have to do is push inside a couple times. BUT look at your manual.

There is a yahoo group that is dedicated to TinLizzie. If you don't get an answer here, you might want to post there too.

Did you blow a fuse on your machine? I have done that a couple of times on my Gammill and it is a simple fix.

Mine did that. I tried everything, too. Fortunately I bought from a reliable distributor. Turns out it was the main power supply. My husband is quite mechanical, so the distributor sent us a new power supply. My husband replaced it and it worked just fine. My Lizzie is a RAM. Hope yours is a quick fix.

You may have blown the fuse on the machine.

Just wanted to take a minute to thank all of you for your responses. FYI - yes I did blow a fuse - twice - and we believe the issue is in the main circuit board now. Unfortunately I have to wait until tomorrow to get any answers as to cost and availability of the part.
Have any of you had any problem with your power cord? |
This happened to me today and we have been looking for a fuse. Can you tell me where to find it? My husband has opened it and we didn't see one.
