My first quilt

I started this quilt in 2006. It is a JoAnn Fabrics BOM called Tuscan Sun I was able to do the piecing each month but when it came to putting the layers together and quilting my mind just bulked. I finally took it out in August and finish the last of the hand quilting last night. I'm still not very good at the hand quilting but another couple of quilts and I may get the hang of it. It will be a Christmas present for my wonderful sister and her hubby. [ATTACH=CONFIG]448532[/ATTACH]

You have done a great job, especially doing all the hand quilting. I would rather hand quilt than machine quilt, but time usually dictates what I do. Keep on quilting.
