What's your favorite thing about the Christmas Season?

This year more than ever I have enjoyed Christmas music, decorations around town, people wearing Christmas decor etc. Yesterday, I saw a teenage boy walking across the street by himself wearing a knitted hat in Christmas colors, (I live in So. Calif). Especially in high school boys don't seem to wear anything that may stand out, I thought it was great he was able to express himself and be happy. It mad me happy to see him wearing it. My favorite thing about the Christmas season is that I become like a child again, the smallest things bring happiness and joy.

Put my tree up at the beginning of December but I still have some shopping to do.

I love giving gifts. I think I almost love it more than getting gifts. (shhh, don't tell anyone)
I love my white tree with aqua and silver ornaments. so pretty. I love making my handmade cards
and surprising people with them. I love having my son here for the holidays too. oh, can't forget the cookies too

One of my favorite things is that since we are between semesters, I don't have papers to grade! Happy Holidays to all!

My favorite part of Christmas is getting together with family and friends.

Love the Christmas music...always puts me in a good mood. I wear some sort of Christmasy hat/clothing/earrings/necklace everyday in December (mainly to bug my Boss ... he pretends to be a scrounge but if I miss a day, he always comments on it.)

I come in on Sunday after Thanksgiving and transform our office into a winder wonderland...he makes sure "everyone" knows "I" did it and he had nothing to do with it :)

I have been hooked on Christmas movies. I usually watch 1 every day and have recorded several. They make me feel so warm and fuzzy inside...they always end on a happy note.

I made a quilted advent calendar for my sons. It has 25 pockets and each pocket contains an index card with a privilege or activity on it. It could be "make Christmas cookies" or "stay up an hour later". They can turn the cards in whenever they want. Every card is different. The boys race downstairs every morning to check the advent calendar. I think that is so cool.
