Got most of my attachments sorted out

And if this looks like a lot - you should see the pile I'm keeping!

The four black boxes on the right are empty - the rest have what they should have in them, and most of the other groups are complete sets. Most of the sets are Greist, and I have top clamp and side clamp, and I sorted them based on what they fit - mostly White and National, Free and Standard (and the "names" they sold under). Though I've still got one I'm not sure of . . .

This is some of my Singer "extras"

I've got several rufflers, tuckers, binders, adjustable hemmers, and one edge stitcher! I've got a few extra sets too - they are in bags on the floor. Though I have not decided for sure about the other feet and "stuff" - most of it I'll keep - just in case.

Here are some back clamp "extras"

And for fun - this is a pile of "junk" - either broken, missing parts or too rusty to be worth messing with.

I am SOOOO ready to have my sewing room back - the attachments really took over!

Wow. Just wow. How long did it take you to accumulate them all? Your sewing machines are now all crying for help.

OH, there for a moment I thought that was my sewing room. I got more feet and boxes for my vintage machines than I know what to do with. One day perhaps when I return I am going to try them all.

That is the scary part - it was about a year ago that I started getting interested in vintage machines - and things when down hill fast from there!

I didn't get real interested in attachments until I picked up a 15 in a cabinet for $32.50. I bought it because it had all sorts of neat attachments -several I had no idea what they were.

Got home and did some research and about fell off my chair seeing what April1930 was asking for some of them (Over $1,000 for one . . .) though I know now that they sell on ebay (the rare times they show up) for about $400.

I figured since I managed to get some of the rarest, most expensive ones by accident, I might as well see about getting others . . .

I was doing OK until I branched out and starting looking at non-Singer stuff.

Wow, that is alot!!!!!

I don't have nearly that many attachments...but I have accumulated a lot of them with machines over the years. Which ones are the really rare ones???? Wonder if I have any of them?
