Seeing the Inner Workings of a Sewing Machine
I found a YouTube video of a vintage Montgomery Ward Futura "Store Display" machine, that has 2 clear panels and 3 lights inside so that the inner mechanical workings of the machine can be seen while sewing. It’s kind of interesting, and......it’s available.....

That's so cool.

Yep. There was a thread about a month ago talking about that machine.
Cool stuff. |
I love it but wouldn't be able to focus on my sewing. It's hypnotic.

that's a nice marketing strategy. would be a great addition to our collection.

Sorry. I missed it in a search, and I wasn’t on QB during the time that you posted it.

It's nice to see that the price has come down from $650 to $500 in the past few months.
It would look really good in the front window of our shop, but I can't swing the cost right now (or ever, probably). But I must say, it has some class! CD in Oklahoma |
It is very cool but I wish they would slow it down just a smidge to really see the parts getting full range of motion. Great marketing tool though! Is this a cam machine? Seems a little more complex than a basic SS.
