The snowflake one is actually a light blue. It didn't take well. I will try another pic and see if it does better.

By the way ... not to butt in or anything, but you can keep posting your pictures on one thread ... this one.
Those of us who are watching you and cheering you on, will be automatically notified that someone has posted more things on this thread, and we will click on the addy that is included in the email and VIOLA! up will pop your new additions.
It might make it easier for you if all you have to do is go to an established thread rather than having to make a new one each time you post.
Each time you want to attach files, you can only post three files, but you can do that numerous times in the same thread.
Good job on your applique. You have a lot of good color choices.
