Grandma and Grandpa
 

This is a quilt of my grandparents who passed away last year. I made this as a xmas gift for my mother. It was also a way for me to have some closure. The crazy thing is, when they passed both at different times there was a celestial event, when I made this quilt there was also a celestial event. I finished the quilt and just cried due to the likeness it resembled. My mother was overjoyed with happy tears to still have them by her side each day, and to have something that came from my heart.

What a good gesture. Sorry for your lost! They are still with you in your thoughts forever and with this quilt your are so right, time spent with them!
