We're on the same radar. I talked to the owner and will check it this week. Not sure what this is? Or if it's worthy of checking.

Looking at the relative scarcity of listings of handcranks on Ebay, this side of the pond; they tend to sell for more than treadles and electrics. I'd be thinkin seriously, especially since it looks like the handcrank might fit my National/Windsor B.

Vmaniqui good luck. That does look like a fairly early machine. Easily worth $50 to me.

owner said his wife picked it up from a flea market and he didn't know anything about sewing machine and he was so apologetic in pricing it at that amount and he thought it's a fair price. wife is in the hospital (??? he said vaguely) so i didn't waste his time. 't have an appointment to meet him this weekend and i will keep you guys posted.

Don't know what it is but it sure is pretty....
