Slide Lock

Does anyone have this tool? What are the pros and cons of this ruler? Is it really worth the $44
price tag?

I know that there was a more recent post on this, but this is the only one I could find:

I bought it and love it. I can even use it on top of a regular ruler

OK. I never really could find anything in search until I clicked on the ADVANCE search. You can find the things you are looking for much easier and cut down on so many duplicate posts. On January 19 of this year, feffertin posted this on the Slidelock Ruler and there are 86 replies. Please check it out because it may have the info you seek. Good Luck !

I bought it and it really works. The only thing you have to watch out for is the hand holding the ruler kind of gets in the way, but you don't have to hold the ruler that hard...Now I have straight cuts!!

I got it in Houston at festival and hate that I didn't get the rest! I hope to pick them up tomorrow at the new AQS show that is coming to town. I give it 10 thumbs up! It is pricey, but they are worth it for the accurate cuts that we are ALWAYS in pursuit of!!

I bought it for safety. I won't cut without a safety tool and the Slidelock is great.

What I don't understand is why they don't use the plastic part as a ruler? Add the lines and you wouldn't need another ruler to help you. I have one and it really works well, but I still wish it had lines on it like a ruler.
