Shops in New York

Hey.
I'm going to New York in March, and I'm looking Quilting shops.
Particularly where I can buy fabric from Philip Jacop and Kaffe Fassett.
Is there anyone who can help me?
I seek frabric like this:

What part of NewYork are you coming to? Do you mean the city or state.

Believe it or not, in the Island of Manhattan there is one quilt store. It is called The City Quilter. Lovely store, but the only one there.

Here is something from Google. Maybe something there will be of use.

Yep, you need to be a little more specific on NYC or if you meant NY state, which part LOL, we are kinda big !

Hi and welcome to the board. Assuming you mean NY City as the state is pretty big and NYC to Buffalo is a good 8 hour driving trip! I think for Kaffe, you may be better off shopping on line. The prices are much better. Fabric.com has a great assortment of Kaffe fabrics. Here is a link

You could also try going to the garment district for fabric. Here is a great blog by Paula Nadelstern on it.

Buying Kaffe fabrics can be difficult at LQS , many shops don't carry Kaffe and those that do often carry only a few. If shopping in person call ahead to see if they stock any. I have to get my Kaffe fix on-line. I do know one shop in New York State that has a good selection but it is in Ithaca.

There are many fabric shops within a few hours of Rochester NY. I believe ~20 or so. Still, we need to know what part of NY you're going to. Have fun and hope you find what you're looking for.

WOW, after reading this blog, I know I would have to spend a month in the garment district and have (as they say in Jamaica) to have very DEEP pockets. :D

I belong to Kaffe Fassett club. Island Quilter, Vashon Island WA does this. $32 a month includes tax and shipping for my area and get 5 half yards. Love the collection and quality. If interested in the club Google Island Quilter. I buy from them specifically at our Sunbonnet Sue Quilt Show every July
