Help Identifying this Pattern, Please

From MSQ Iron Quilter 2 Challenge ~ I like the secondary pinwheel design. Is there a pattern for this somewhere that you know of? I've looked and looked and can't seem to find anything quite like it.

I would guess that is someones own design. It will be easy to draw it out on graph paper or if someone has EQ.

I got an email from Martingale a while back and they showed that pattern and it was in a book. I saved the image as I thought it would be fairly easy to figure out without acquiring another book.

it looks like a variation to the snow ball quilt.

I don't know, but I sure love seeing all the quilts on the page you pulled it from.

Check with Missouri Quilt Co.They have some really nice tutorials on pinwheel quilts. Not sure that one is included though.

If it is just the pinwheel you want to make, you need 4 half square triangles sewn together as a 4 patch.

It is called 'Little Red' in the Schnibbles Times Two book by Carrie Nelson. Her site is missrosiesquiltco.com. Just love her Schnibbles patterns!

It's just a half square triangle block with the corners snowballed. Easy peasy!

Or to be more specific....snowball the corners of the plain squares before sewing them together as an HST......this will create that neat little pinwheel in the corners.
