Does the yellow brick road have an established pattern (block) or it is the pattern however you want it?

If my memory serves me correctly, I think there are 3 different blocks that are made to make the quilt.

It has a pattern. The pattern is by Atkinson Design. You can arrange the squares to your liking. There are other sites on the internet that are similar and free.

Here is a link to a free brick road pattern. The pattern does have an established block.
