Here is my newest!

I was just thinking -with this one arrived, I don't have any machines in transit - but I forgot one so that isn't true. I've still got a green sweety heading this way.

This is a New Williams, made by New Williams. It's a bit of a deviation for me as it's made in Canada and not US -but I really like the bobbin winder (even if it's got a ding in it).

decals in very nice condition

I haven't had time to measure this one, so I don't know what feet/attachments might fit. I know I was reading somewhere about this being similar to another US made machine, but I can't remember what I read or where I read it . . . so back to the drawing board with that.

Pretty. Interesting how the bed is raised in the sewing area. I have often wondered how those type of machines thread...the top looks so confusing.

Yes, I have one just like it only mine came in a lovely cabinet. I actually bought it because of the cabinet - it is in really good shape. New Williams machines were made in the province of Quebec (mine in the late 1800's) but the factory was lost in a fire & I don't believe it was ever rebuilt. Your machine looks like a twin to mine. I had never heard of this company until I bought mine.

very nice! now? how many treadles have you? are you going to put it on a treadle, and exchange a little each others?

and I? what is the best way to take them in order.? ciao, best wishes for all machines:rolleyes:

If that one was this side of the border, I'd be seriously interested - as it comes with all the "stuff" too.

Macybaby,
I forgot to ask if you got a manual with your machine. I was able to download one from the internet when I bought mine. If you need one & can't get one, I could photocopy mine & send it to you.

Thanks Callen, I'll have to look at what I've downloaded and see if I have one. I try to get originals for each machine, but sometimes it takes a while for one to show up.

I haven't had time to check out it's "specs" yet and see if any of the attachments I have will fit. I did notice that the slide plate is slightly different size than the New Royal, but I've not compared that one to my other rectagle needle plate machines.
