Chinese Coins Top: Third controled scrap done
6 Attachment(s)
I've got the idea from this blog.
http://kleinmeisjequilts.blogspot.co...s-process.html The top measured 53" x 72" and it has 1908 pieces (2" x 1" finished) , 954 neutral and 954 scraps. I hope you like it. It was fun cutting and piecing and I welcome advise about handquilting it. I never handquilt pieces so tiny! Enjoy the weekend!!! :) |
I love that! No advice as I have never hand quilted. How about diagional quilting on the beige squares.
Wow, that's impressive.
Great job! And those are small! Also not sure how to quilt it, but it will be impressive, whatever you do!
Thats a lot of pieces!! Pretty!!!
Oh my goodness, those do look so small. You did a great job. I have no idea about the quilting though.
That is an AMAZING scrappy !!! Stunning.....really!
Oh my! I really like your quilt. What a great and different way to use up those scraps that seem to multiply over night. How much yardage did you use of the controlled off white background? This would make a great leader/ender project.
Your quilt is so pretty! Love the colors and design.
That is a beautiful quilt. My mother and grandmother called it the Depression Quilt. I would not quilt every piece but quilt it in blocks of whatever size you choose. It could be in the ditch or crosshatched or possibly shadow your blocks about 1/4" from the seam.
