Finally home
Just got home from florida, went for the winter and sure learned a lot of things while there of what to do the next time. This was our first time going south for the winter. I did not take my sewing machine and I really felt like my right arm was gone without it. There was lots of activites there to do but would rather been sewing. And I should have had a cleaner clean our home before we got home. Can't believe how dirty a place gets with no one there.I told my husband I guess we live and learn. I was really impressed with the place we stayed. They had beginner quilt classes and regular quilt sessions. They even had a small quilt show. It was really nice.

I see a Janome Jem in your future or a Featherweight! :) Easy to transport and use. :)

you should have splurged and got yourself a cheap $100 one at walmart.
do that next year. |
I agree with Lynnie. I would've run out to Walmart for a cheap machine.

That's what I would do, too.

As I just said in another post - nothing but a bunch of enablers here! Glad you enjoyed your winter in FL. I'm sure it was a great learning curve on lots of levels. But just think of all you DID learn and know what to do better/different next year!

Welcome back! Now you'll know for next year. I'd rather be inside doing my thing too. It drives my DH crazy, but I can go days without coming out of the house. Thanks for the house cleaning tip too. Good to know!
