Stitch In The Ditch

I've started a new project that has large white squares between the colored strip so thought I'd hand quilt different motifs in each one. Also going to stitch in the ditch to set away the block from the edge. This is the first time I've stitched in the ditch and those of you who do this often sure have my respect! Will be thrilled when the callous on my thumb and finger return. LOL!!!! That looks so nice!! I like that top design the most but they're all really nice. That's going to be a great quilt!
I can't imagine how much patience it takes to hand quilt. To me, machine stitch in the ditch is a piece of cake by comparison! Hand quilting looks so nice...I just don't have it in me at this point. |

Very nice. I have been reading about spoon quilting. Have you tried it? Are you SID by hand or machine?

Beautiful work and have fun with the hand quilting. Really miss being able to hand quilt but hands are in too bad a shape.

Your quilt motifs are SO pretty !!!! I have enough hand trouble just applique=ing......i don't know how you hand quilters do it !!!!
