I am teaching myself to quilt and looking for people around the Hubbard, tx area that is willing to help.

Welcome! This site is full of every shred of information you will ever need. With lots of opposing opinions about each subject :)
I would suggest you change your username to something besides your email address.
If you click on your username or profile at the top of the page and there will be somewhere in there to do it.
