Well, girls, I'm here mainly for selfish reasons--I want to learn so much from you all. I actually have no idea where to start; hence the reason I just signed up for a quilting course. I'm quite excited about it. Over the years, I've bought so many fat quarters because they were "pretty," but I had no idea where to start to put them to some use. So I'm going to learn.
Oh, I'm Jen, by the way, Canadian by birth but now living on the Isle of Anglesey, North Wales, UK. I'm married and we have one 10-year old son. My main passion is cross stitch and I'm dabbling in a bit of knitting at the moment, but I've always admired quilters. So, I'm going to join your ranks. I'll ask for your forgiveness now for when I start inundating you with questions. |
Hi Jen, from sunny Spain. I used to live in Manchester and have spent numerous holidays on Anglesey and all over Wales!! Glad you can join us, you will never regret it :D

Hi Jen -
Welcome for the NE USA. Sounds like you did pretty well at starting. This is a wonderful and active group of quilters. Ask lots of questions - there is a huge amount of talent here as well as great support!! Don't forget to post pics of what you do in class!! |

Welcome from Southern California. I started as a Cross Stitcher and practically have put it aside to Quilt. Quilting is addicting!!! I hope you enjoy your class and this is the place to ask questions, so don't hesitate!!
