Where to buy AccuQuilt machine?
 

I've decided to take the plunge and by an AccuQuilt machine. Where should I buy it? Help, please.

I will be watching as I'm thinking about buying one too.

Which one? I have the Studio and bought it through their website. I got their sale price and you earn points to use on more dies.

I think I got the Go Mix and Match Starter Set from Amazon. I know I've bought a lot of dies from SewForLess because their prices were better than other sites. Just do some comparison shopping on line and at your LQS. BTW, I love my Accuquilt.

I looked at Amazon and compared prices. In the end, Amazon won.

I recently got mine from Amazon, but after I bought it I saw Nancys Notions had the same "starter package" for cheaper. But since it was a large purchase, I decided to apply for the Amazon credit card (like I need more credit cards!) and got a nice percentage back. So in the end I felt ok about not combing the internet for a better deal.

There is a yahoo group called Sew Its for Sale. You do have to "apply" for membership, basic info given to group moderator. Members can (and do!) list everything from machines to patterns to notions... Anything sewing related. If you have the willpower to watch for one for a bit, and are willing to purchase one less than brand new, you might get a good deal.

You can also put an "in search of" listing. For example, you could list the Go! on its own, or with dies, or only for those dies that appeal to you.

Or of course there are the looking for/for sale listings here, too!

I bought the Baby Go from Nancy Zeiman for approx. $70 on sale. As said above, if you have the patience to watch for a sale.

I bought the starter kit ( includes the Go! and several dies) from Amazon. At the time I bought it, it was the best price I found. But as others suggested, spend time researching because you could find a better deal. I'm sure you will love it. Saves so much time and is fun to use!

I bought my studio from accuquilt. It was on sale and over 100 I think it is it has free shipping, so can't beat that. Be aware that they have changed their pricing policy to most stores for resale except Joann's, so you won't be able to buy them very cheaply any more. I understand Joann's wouldn't do it so they can still sell them at their sale prices. Otherwise, your best bet is Accuquilt when there is a sale. I love my studio and heard a lot of people love their go's.
