A deal of the century for me... Currently its at my service guy to be cleaned oiled and given the once over...I cant wait to get it home to make my first treadle quilt.. I am one lucky gal !!!

Oh my, she's a beauty....the oak is even in good shape still! What a deal! Congratulations!
I have to ask - what year is she? I have a Featherweight that I absolutely adore that I named "Rose" - she was 'born' in 1936. To have a treadle machine...wow!!! |

I have one that looks like that, especially the cabinet. It has a spindle type bobbin. Never could get the rhythm right to sew on it. I guess it takes a lot of practice. One day I will get back to it.
How do you find out how the age of the machine? |
