Garden Bouquet - Do you know this pattern?
2 Attachment(s)
We were browsing quilt shops in Lancaster, PA and saw this quilt. My friend would Love to make it but the staff said they don't have a pattern for it. She does beautiful applique work. The tag only said "Garden Bouquet". Do you recognize it?

I don't know the name of it or where you could get the pattern, but it sure is pretty.

This looks like an old, old pattern from years ago. Hope you find the pattern, it is a beauty. :)

It may be a pattern from a vintage quilt kit or an old book. Your best bet may be to re-create the pattern from the photo's you took.

This reminds me of the Amish quilts. It is certainly a beautiful one. Good luck with finding a pattern. Please let us know when you do, I would love to get one too.

I did find the same quilt here http://amishloft.com/quilts/bed/quilt_q127.html with a few words about the maker, though it's done trapunto style and not appliqued. Amish Country Lanes has many similar style quilts. I believe these ladies make their living by creating these beauties, all hand sewn, so I don't imagine they would sell patterns. But they will make them to order. Otherwise it should be a fairly simple task of recreating something similar. I'm sure one is on my 'to-do' list one day.

Please let us know if you find this pattern I would love to make this wonderful quilt

Go to Keepsake Quilting and look for Holice Turnbow patterns and kits. Although the wholecloth quilt patterns images look blurred, this is surely his "Garden Bouquet". Click on the image, then again click to enlarge, and you can see it.
