just one question have lots of double knit given to me what can one make with it?
|
My Mom cut them into squares, sewed them together randomly, backed them with double knit ( no batting) and tied the quilt. This was in the 70's, they are very warm, in the washer and dryer and seem to never wear out. The kids (in their forties now) used them for football games and now carry them in the car because of the easy care and warmth.

I don't know that I can answer your question, but I am sure that someone here will come up with some ideas. I just wanted to say welcome from Ireland.

Hi and Welcome from Northern Indiana !
As for the double knits , I think Butterflywing has used them to make quilts from them Try doing a search on this site  Sharon |
It's harder to work with since you can't press it and it stretches a little, but you can't wear it out. I used to make charity quilts for the homeless with it. Takes a beating for sure.
