I hate to admitt it but I HAVE to make a baby quilt rather than I WANT to make a baby quilt. I have until end of Dec. but something else has come up and I won't have the time for quilting that I planned when I committed to this project. I did buy two patterned and I have plain flannel on hand. What can I do with two patterns for a really quick baby quilt? Or if I have to, I can buy more but town is 50 miles away and I need to be organized when I go there.

Simple rail fence would be nice.
Disappearing 9 Patch.
Yellow Brick Road.
Do just a patch quilt, using 4 inch squares.

Why not stick to a simple pattern you can strip piece? If just using two colors, a single Irish chain, shoofly, or barn door would all be quick.

Ha! NOW I'm choosing a pattern, and changing my mind, and choosing a different one and changing my mind. Will have to pick up more fabrics! Maybe Shoofly using the three I already have.....OR rail fence Or Yellow Brick Road OR, Or, or.............See what's happening to me? Think I might cut some strips.........and see what happens. I had thought maybe porch swing but I'd need more fabrics........same for rail fence although I could do it with 3. Ah, decisions, decisions. Thanks! I seemed to be stuck on what to do. Now I have plenty to choose from. I guess the stress was getting to me.

Yeah, I know. Maybe once it gets cold my sewing mode will kick in and I can sew like crazy. And NOT get 6 of them lined up waiting their turn!

a nine patch block, alternating with a tonal block, looks great.
Blue and pink nine patch alternated with a white eyelet block looks great too!
