Bernina 125: opinions please!
I am looking for a no-frills but dependable machine to leave at my daughter's house. I'm looking at Berninas because that's what I have and would like to use the feet as needed. My neighborhood quilt shop has a used Bernina 125 (with one year warranty) for $400, with an extra about $100 to add a knee lift. Is this a good price? What is your experience with this machine? Thanks!

I have a 210 and love it. After looking at the Bernina 125 on the internet, it has more stitches than mine. I certainly would get the machine for that price. If you don't want it, I'll take it.

I love my Bernina 131 and when it went into the shop for an emergency repair, I purchased a 150 from an estate sale so I could keep going. Both machines are better than my 200e. I updated to a 830, but really love the two older machines. A good buy.

I have a Bernina 1530 which is an older model. I have seen my model sell for $600 to $800 so I would think $400 would be a very good deal for a newer machine.
