Hot Pad Tutorial With A Little Window In The Center

These are like cathedral windows. This blog post and tutorial is a few years old, but I wanted to share it in case someone was looking for an unusual hot pad or coaster idea.

Thanks for sharing this. I have made coasters and potholders using the four patch method for the back but had not thought of folding them back like this. I have used the folding back method in quilts and pillow tops but never thought of using it in potholders like this. These will definitely go on my "gotta do" list.

I just whipped one out tonight. They are pretty neat--thanks a bunch for the link. I think I'll be making quite a few in the next few weeks. I used Insulbright for the batting and it worked well.

Love them. Thanks for sharing. I make stuff and donate to my friends church bazzar and I think I can whip up a few of these in no time.
