Quilt Shop Shelving Needed
Does anyone know of a quilt shop that may be trying to downsize or is closing that has shelving for sale? Prefer it be located within the IN, MI, IL, OH area. Thank you!

I don't know about shops, but I did a Google search and found a used shelving supplier:

Are you looking for shelving the right size for bolts? I wrap most of my fabric on comic book boards but I do keep my larger(3yds+) on regular bolts. I found this bookcase at a thrift sore missing most of its shelves, and a light bulb went off. I had two shelves cut for the top half but my regular bolts fit on the lower half. You could put bolts on upper and lower parts of the bookcase by removing another shelf.

Thanks so very much for taking the time to do this and respond!

Try a bookstore going out of business. When one went out near us they had rock-bottom prices for all the shelving, which was good quality and adjustable. You could do FQ/HY on one shelf and bolts on another.

Walmart and Big Lots both have shelves that aren't costly. Might be worth looking at both places. I got mine at Walmart.

My local LQS was closing and she had her shelving units for sale for $25. Lucky I don't drive otherwise I would have brought them home. I would certainly start looking for in second hand stores. Store owners may be closing their brick and mortar store and not be selling their shelving.

Check Craigs list for your area!

Just something to keep in mind. If you get inexpensive book shelves, the shelves will warp with the weight of the fabric. If you can find metal shelving cheap, that would be a better way to go.
