Texas Style Christmas Stocking

3 Attachment(s)
For the new little ones in the family, I try to complete a Christmas stocking for them, and this will be for a little great niece in Texas. I have seen pictures of this kind and adapted mine to fit the fabric I had on hand. I used the leftovers from the mitering of corners for a previous quilt and the strip sets that made several tree skirts and Dresden plates for the back. I also used some Swavorski crystals for the centers of the poinsettias to kind of make it snap a bit more. I learned several things not the least of which a pattern would have been helpful and not to EVER make such a sharp pointed toe. Not perfect, but hopefully will be liked.
