Yard sale singer
 

I was fortunate enough this morning to stop at a local yard sale where the home owner was parting with several sewing machines. I was able to get one for only $10! I can't tell much about it yet other than it's been converted to electric. The model number is 11597645.

Thanks! I was able to find a manual to read up on it. I have it set up on my sewing table already! It runs like a champ. I thought at first it would be hard to thread the shuttle and it's not to bad!

Well, assuming that there was not a letter in front of those numbers, the machine was made in 1893. Most likely a VS2 (27)
