whole cloth quilting???

I want to try a whole cloth quilt. I seen pictures of them. what kind of fabric do you use? I seen the white fabric. does anyone know where to buy the ones that are already printed. could I use batiste fabric and mark it with stencils thank you. lots of questions

Google preprinted whole cloth kits. There are lots of shops that have them like Stencil co., Bernatex, and others. You can mark your own if you want. I think batiste is a little thin to use. If you are just wanting to practice, you can use a good quality muslin or any other solid fabric like Kona or Bella.

Here are a couple of links to preprinted wholecloth quilts

If you want to do your own, I would recommend buying wide fabric so you have no seams. You can use wide muslin or any solid wide quilt back fabric. Then you can mark it using stencils or make up your own design.

I stencil my own. I do suggest buying wide fabric and muslin whole cloth quilts are absolutely beautiful.

Keepsake quilting sells the printed whole cloth quilts. Last I saw they had white and ivory.

I bought mine from The Stencil Company. It's queen size, is printed in easily washable blue, and the fabric is a very nice soft ecru color. They have several styles to choose from. Great customer service I found.

I have done two which I purchased from Herschner's. They have held up for quite some time.

I bought mine at an Amish fabric store and the women there mark the quilt on white or off white fabric. Very reasonably priced
