The Quilter Magazine
Has anyone received the Oct./Nov issue of The Quilter Magazine in the mail the last issue I received in the mail was the Aug/Sept. And the web site shows the Aug/Sept issue as being the "current issue". I was wondering if the company went under as Quilt It Today did.

I looked. I haven't recieved mine either.

You might want to shoot them an e-mail, but it looks like they are no longer selling the magazine. Just to see if I could subscribe, and there was no way for me to do it one their website.

inquiring minds want to know. I have noticed that i have gotten e-mails telling me several of the my quilting subscriptions have the web version available but i haven't received my hard copies yet. Guess it is time to go and check on addresses etc.

I had that problem with Fons and Porter. I had downloaded one issue to see if I liked the digital version and decided that I really really did NOT!! But I stopped getting the paper version after that. Took two emails and a phone call before they straightened it out and I still missed one issue completely. They did extend my subscription--which I am not going to bother renewing when it runs out.

Seems like so many quilting magazines are dropping like flies. I've let most of my subscriptions lapse because I can't keep track of which ones have died and I'm pretty sure I've lost money on a couple of them but haven't bothered to track it all down. Quilter's Newsletter is about the only one I'm sticking with, and I think one or two 'zines that died had a deal that increased my subscription with them. I buy the rest off of news stands if they look interesting, that way I know that I've gotten what I've paid for and I don't have to wonder if something has gone out of business.

I don't know if you used a cc for the payment if you can get your money refunded. It is worth a try.

check out this web page. It explains it all. It affects a lot of magazines as well. http://www.scrapbookupdate.com/2014/...es-bankruptcy/

It's too bad...I really enjoy print magazines. I'm an internet junkie too, but there's something very satisfying about a paper magazine. I'll keep buying them as long as they keep printing them, but I'm being a lot more choosy about which ones I subscribe to.

I have taken the Quilter Magazine for years. It's one of my favorites. I sure hope they are just behind in production.
