Messed up and need opinions.

I have been working on a quilt for over a year and a half. Yesterday after appliqueing the geese on the background I sewed all the blocks into their rows and then all the rows together.
When I was done with the top except for the last border I noticed I had not changed the tension back to what I normally use.
I was using clear polyester thread for the applique so loosened it quite a bit. I looked at my seams and can see it isn't how it should be.
I don't know If I should resew the entire top or not. Will the machine quilting over the seams keep it intact? Will it fall apart?
I am so upset and just don't know what to do.

I am not sure what anyone else would do, but I would re-sew it to make sure.

I would re-sew too. Sorry

If the stitching is loose than you will probably have to re-sew. If the stitching is secure and you are pressing the seams to one side then it might be alright.

Same thoughts as others...resew....the silver lining is you will never make this mistake again, and you can be sure you're not the only one who has done this - ask me how i know!

I'm sorry this happened to you. Like the others, I would resew. Hugs to you!

I very rarely resew anything but that I would resew. So sorry that happened to you.

I would renew too. Bummer.

I'd resew; at least you don't have to pick out stitche, and it will go quickly for you...probably never come apart..ever.
