My Last UFO! Arkansas Crossroads
2 Attachment(s)
I finished my goal of completing UFOs with this final one. I'm going to start with a clean slate after Christmas--YAY!
The squares in the sixteen patches were given to me by another member of this board--thank you again, I've had so much fun with them, and you will see more of them--the box had over 2700 3 1/2" squares inside! :) I don't know how to classify the backing--retro? modern?--but, it reminded me of the roses painted red by the playing cards in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, so I loved it (I am a fan, and a student, of most anything Alice!). I decided to make this after seeing the beautiful quilts that #1piecemaker's husband makes--mine is made with a different size squares, but his quilts were my inspiration! :) Merry Christmas to all--try to have a restful, peaceful holiday season. |
Lovely quilt, congrats on getting it finished.

The quilt is fine, i'm even more impressed this is your last UFO! Happy New Year!

Love the quilt and the quilting. I'll keep that in mind since I'm planning on doing that design.
|
I love it. The quilt sparkles. Great job!

Beautiful quilt, I really really like your backing too, not dissing quilt, I just like the backing.
|
Great quilt and one of my favourite patterns!
|
Your quiilt is beautiful! I really like the pattern and the background. It might be a scrap quilt but it doesn't seem like a scrappy quilt if you get what I am trying to say. I really really like this. And the back is a great fit for the front. Can you tell me where you found the pattern? I have a bunch of scraps and this would be fun to make I think.
