Curved Sewing Machine Needles

I have some curved sewing machine needles marked "Organ 10" and haven't the slightest idea what they are used for. Does anyone have a clue? Thanks.

I looked on the Internet and according to what I read they were used in overlockers. Whether they still use them I can't say.

I agree they are for a blind hem machine. Used one for years when doing alterations here is a pic of one http://www.allbrands.com/categories/...-blind-hem-sti

WOW, I never heard of a curved needle for a sewing machine. I doubt if they would work on my older Bernina 1530.
