Hi Everyone,
I love my quilting and my computer but I have never ventured into an on-line forum before and am not quite sure what buttons to press!
I have been sewing forever but quilting for only a few years since my children married and I acquired a spare room that I am trying to fill with beautiful fabric.
Part of my room is dedicated to sewing and part to painting - I teach decorative art part time but have been concentrating on quilting lately.
I love animals - I have two dogs, birds and fish.
I am fortunate enough to work on a lavender farm in the Yarra Valley close to where I live. Beautiful countryside.
I have been reading some of the articles and comments on the Quilting Board with interest and could'nt help but join.

Welcome from MN, USA. I am happy to see more people from Australia coming on. My sister lives in Springvale, Vic. And I am hoping that sometime someone will say they know her. She taught me how to sew when I was 5 years old. and I have been trying to get her into quilting , but she says she doesn't have the time. You will love the people and the help you get from here. Lots of beauties to see.
