Thinsulate Batting Question

Friend gave me a queen size bag of Thinsulite batting.Fell in love with it.Before I buy another bag are there any pros and cons from board members? Thanx.......

I have used it once in a quilt I made my mom, and we both are happy with it. We wanted warm, but lightweight. It fits the bill, plus it's easy to work with, not like most poly battings which are so fluffy and messy. This one's flat and an even thickness, just like a great cotton batt.

Mary, I have used Thermore batting. Great for large quilts. Very warm without the weight. Vi

I also have a piece of Thermore batting. I have never used it since I bought it for finishing a vest which is still a UFO.

I have used it many times with no issues. Used once on a quilt for someone else and that is what she wanted - I like a little more loft in mine. Mostly I use for table runners and toppers

Have not used it. Going to check it out today!

I liked the Thinsulate but have not seen it in stores for a while. I really liked it.

How is it for shrinkage?

OOPs - I just read this incorrectly. I have used the Thermore but not the Thinsulite batting before in quilt and table runners.

OOPs--I did the same thing you did. I read Thermore. And Thermore is what I used, not Thinsulate. Never heard of Thinsulate batting.
