Tips on removing tear-away stabilizer?

I used Pellon tear away stabilizer on a machine Appliqued block. I was able to remove most of it easily, but there are bits under the buttonhole stitches....do I need to remove them with tweezers? Ugh. 😝 this block will be in a quilted table topper....sorry if I have posted this in the wrong forum!

Well, I just started embroidering, tear away everything I can and leave the parts that are stitched over, if that helps. I can't imagine trying to get at all the little pieces under the stitching. I think I'd be likely to damage the stitching!

those small bits do not matter, leave them there they will eventually discentigrate, (sp)if you keep messing with it you'll mess up your stitches

I never even tried to remove the small bits and pieces underneath the thread.

If it tears away easily, it will probably wash away easily, like a piece of lint.

I leave the pieces with no problem. Since I use the satin stitch it makes removal of bad stitching very easy. The little piece of stabilizer takes care of the ripper point so it doesn't tear fabric when removing satin stitches. If it really bothers you, use wash away stabilizer.
