Looking for a Maple Leaf pattern -- 12" finish Block
 

I'm hoping someone has a resource to a 12" block maple leaf pattern. I've been searching the Internet for two days with no luck.

Eleanor Burns has a tablerunner with that leaf. I am pretty sureit is 12 1/2 inches too.

I can't figure out the generations website. It looks as if it includes complete instructions for making that block, yet I can't find a way to print out the templates. If someone could figure that out for you, you would have everything you need to make that block.

The block is on a free pattern site so hope I am not stepping on anyone's toes:
Make a 12.5" sq on paper. Mark off 1/4" on all edges. Divide inside sq into grid 5 x 5 sqs so that there are 25 sq's in the 12" sq. Going by design (except for right top corner, there are hst's on the points) draw angles. The right top "block" will have a longer top line and shorter bottom line. Then color or scribble the dark parts and you will have your pattern. Measure each section for size of each piece. Just remember to add seam allowances.

I really like the first one. Looks like the real thing. Easy enough to make the pattern for a finished 12.5" block. Make a grid of 2.5" blocks (5 across and 5 down) and draw your pattern then add the 1/4" seam allowances on all sides of the pieces. The long rectangles look like they are snowballed with 2.5" (plus1/4" SA) squares so cut 3" squares. If you look at the upper right, it is easy to do with the grid.

I like the shape of the leaves. I could add a stem. I was going to put sashing around each leaf, but the scattered method could work for me too. Thanks!
