A member of my guild, ask us to make heart quilts from her DS's pink/pinkish fabrics to donate to charity. DS was a new quilter and passed away this year. I added my fabric to make a D9P.
The second photo is a better picture of my avatar. My guild managed to hang it in the wrong catagory, so no ribbons. I did receive nice comments from the judges, especially on my binding. That alone, made me do a happy dance. Garden Maze Back Charity Heart Quilt |
Both are beautiful quilts!

Yes, both are really lovely! I'm so glad to posted a different angle of your avatar quilt -- I love it! That would be something I would make.

Both of the quilts are beautiful, how nice of you to work on the charity quilt. It was too bad your Garden Maze quilt got categorized wrong - it is gorgeous! I am sure it would have done really well in the proper judging. Mind if I ask, where did you get that pattern? When I search for that name, it gives me a very different looking pattern.

Both quilts are beautiful. That was a nice thing for you to make the charity quilt.

Both quilts are beautiful! How nice for your quilting guild friend to have you all make charity quilts from her DS's stash. And how very nice for all of you to make the quilts!
|
Those are very nice. I like them. :D

I made this quilt at a Mystery Quilt Birthday Party. Some of our ladies throw themselves a party at 60 or 70 years young. The Hostess used a book called "Mystery Quilts" by Rita Fishel. The name of this pattern was "What's Knot". It is 65" x 72".
Thanks for your compliments, the ladies and gents on this board are so sweet and supportive of each other. |
I'm sorry your quilt got hung in the wrong place :( but I wanted to say what nice quilts they are!
|
They are both wonderful. Great job on each of them.
